I use this bike on the trails and roads for about 10 miles daily. I am no expert but wanted a bike that wouldn't need maintenance every week (Schwinn). Problem I had with my old Schwinn was the rims would be bent and impossible to ride the bike and the gears needed maintenance 1 time every 2 months. This bike has been amazing so far and is effortless. Looks great in black/gray

I am using this to get back into shape and lose some extra baggage. This bike is extremely light, the Shimano up and down shifters are amazing. I recommend trying the Giant Escape and the Cyphress. The escape is a little more sleeker and the cyphress has a larger seat. My only con with the cyphress was the turn grip shifters vs the thumb shifter ont he escape. I purchased the riser for my Escape handlebars adding 2-3 inches. Its all about what you are comfortable with, the staff at PV Bike Shop works with you to find that level and will not pressure you to buy anything!!! I highly recommend going and talking to Randy, Ken, and Butch.

I decided half way through summer it was time to make a change in my fitness. I chose to pick up bike riding because of a knee injury a year ago. I was fairly new on bikes and all the terminology so I chose this gem for a beginner bike and price. Its extremely light weight and when I say light weight I mean I can lift it over my head with one hand no sweat. The seat is a little uncomfortable after sitting on it for so long but it is an over all very smooth ride. Everything works PERFECT! before I knew it I was logging 20+ mile bike rides in no time. This bike has given me such a great workout everytime and it's nice to get around town free. I would recommend this bike to anyone looking to pick up a new hobby. I plan on advancing in this hobby in hopes of picking up a tour road bike with the curly handle bars but for now this works perfect!

Just bought it, love it! I use the bike to commute from Dana Point to Laguna Beach, which is about 9 miles, not excessive but lots of hills. The bike drives great, tackles the hills confidently. I could hope for slightly better brakes and gears variety, but for the price, definitely *****

This bike was given to me by my dad for a birthday present. I have been on it for a couple weeks now and am VERY impressed. The ride is very smooth and is easy to make sharp turns at faster speeds than normal. It looks amazing and has a very modern feel to it. It is a great bike for a friendly race or for my use, 2-3 mile commutes. I highly recommend.
